Seiberling is a tyre company named after its founders, brothers Frank and Charles Seiberling. Interestingly, Frank Seiberling also founded Goodyear and served as its president for many years, but in 1921, Frank and his brother Charles left Goodyear and set up the new company, Seiberling. The company was based in Ohio, and its sales grew rapidly. During WWII, Seiberling produced tyres for heavy artillery, in the 60s, it manufactured whitewall tyres for muscle cars. In 1965 the company was bought out by Firestone, which in turn was taken over by Bridgestone.
