The company was founded in 1976 in order to produce tyres for the aircraft of the Turkish Air Force, and it was privatised in 1997. Starmaxx has 2150 employees and produces around 13 million tyres each year which it exports to over 100 countries. Its factory in Turkey is 400,000 m2, on a site of 2,000,000 m2. The Starmaxx range covers a huge range of vehicles from forklift trucks and tractors to mining vehicles and aircraft. Starmaxx also manufactures more than 100 sizes of passenger car and truck tyres.
